They are my grandparents. I never met Walter and leontyne died when I was 2.she was living with us till her death.
Alan, They likely were loving grandparents. I wish you had the opportunity to know them.
I had a great aunt who never liked having her picture taken. The expression on Mrs. Anding's face reminds me of photos of that great aunt.
You always have such amazing photographs! I like your comment that they "tolerated the photographer." Yes it does look like that :)
