Speaking with relatives about family history, I am often told to keep this piece of information between you, me and the gate post. Respecting sensibilities, I will share my family stories entwine with historical events from Copiah, Jefferson and Lincoln Counties, Mississippi, from gate post to gate post.
Hunters Cemetery is in the Smyrna Community in Copiah County, MS. Entombed are siblings, Melinda E Winston 1898-1982, Timothy Ora Winston 1908-1993, and Timothy's wife Erma Bernice Miller Winston 1911-2000.

That is interesting. I wonder why they chose that type of burial and if the family built the tombs themselves.
I also found these pictures really interesting. I've never seen any burial sites like this.

There may be several brick masons in this branch of the family because there was a good bit of brick work in this cemetery.
