School is back in session in Mississippi. Time to bring up an old school photograph. The photograph may be of children in Lincoln County, MS, or a surrounding county.
Speaking with relatives about family history, I am often told to keep this piece of information between you, me and the gate post. Respecting sensibilities, I will share my family stories entwine with historical events from Copiah, Jefferson and Lincoln Counties, Mississippi, from gate post to gate post.

Wonderful photograph!
I too think it is a wonderful photograph. I would like to know their names and what happen to them.
Me too. They do not look like they are there to play around. Good idea, posting an old school photo for back to school. I know I have one around here from Alabama in the 1940s.
I hope you find the photo, love to see it.
My grandfather was born in 1914 in Lincoln co. He could very well be in that photo
I know you don't know the names but if you run across anything about Buford Mitchell born 1914, worked in the railroad as well as laborers, let me know.
I will. Thank you for visiting my blog.
