That is heart wrenching. To lose two daughters at just a few months old. Did they have other children?
Yes, they had other children. Death visited too often in homes with young children.
Parents are not supposed to bury their children. I hear this said so often. How very sad and difficult it must have been for William & Mattie. I can't help but wonder what the cause was.
I am guessing it was a fever, yellow or malaria. I would love to know the cause of their deaths.
