Speaking with relatives about family history, I am often told to keep this piece of information between you, me and the gate post. Respecting sensibilities, I will share my family stories entwine with historical events from Copiah, Jefferson and Lincoln Counties, Mississippi, from gate post to gate post.
I love the earnest look on his face, as if he is weighing his responsibility to right things for justice. Now, he is probably just thinking about trick-or-treating, but then, I see symbolism in everything. I especially love the caring that adjusting his mask by the hands of an unseen (mother? sister?) woman says about our necessity to nurture even Captain America. "I am here, right behind and beside you as you move into your destiny."

Awww! He's the cutest! I would definitely give him lots of treats if he came to trick-or-treat me!!!

The woman is his mother. It is true, no matter who we are, there have been nurturers around us, to guide us. Cheers to nurturers!
Amen to that! I love the women in my life who have nurtured me, and that I in turn have had that opportunity and privilege to nurture others.
