  1. I bet there were some treasures inside when it was still operating. I used to love to stop at old stores because they usually had sodas like Grape-ette that no one else carried.

    1. I visited this store just once. Modern world contrasting with the old, black iron stove for heating vs freezers. I can always find one of my childhood favorites, the stage plank, a rectangle cookie at these types of stores.

    1. If the walls could speak, we would hear all types of stories. I often wonder what my enslaved relatives, who lived in the area, would share about the store.
