Respecting sensibilities, I will share my family stories entwine with historical events from Copiah, Jefferson and Lincoln Counties, Mississippi, from gate post to gate post.

I love the way people always lean into a photograph and there is always so much room around. So, Ella is the great grandmother? Rubinetta is the mother of Phyllis and Alberta is another daughter?
ReplyDeleteYour theory is my theory. I found another obituary which is in conflict with our theory, need the 1940 census for clarity of Beatrice's daughters.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I stopped by to see your post. This is three generations? I wonder what the occasion was. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThere might be four generations. I imagine Beatrice, along with her daughter Rubinetta and granddaughter Phyllis, came by after church to visit with Beatrice's mother Ella and her sister Alberta the caregiver.
