Mr. Benson's expression draws the viewer in, doesn't it? He is serene, yet compellingly warm and just a hint of what might have been a smile waiting to emerge. This is the most interesting portrait I have seen in a long time.

Yes, it does. He has a warm friendly face with a hint of boyish charm. His gray hair betrays his age. He appears youthful, bright eyed and ready for today's challenge.

I also immediately noticed his expression. It is very compelling. He looks like a thoughtful person who would be fun to talk with.

Based upon my recollection of family oral history, my great grandfather Charlie Benson and Dora Henderson had three (3) children: R.H. (uncle Bob), Charlie Ray, and Helen. I am the daughter of Gilbert Baker and Nannie Benson Baker's daughter, Hallie.
